It was a Sunday night when I decided to watch Twilight because I really want to watch it. Because of that decision, I influenced my aunt and my cousin to watch the twilight. And there I was on Cinema 1 of KCC Mall of Gensan, excited to watch the movie entitled "Twilight". When we entered, it already started maybe we just missed the first 30 seconds of the movie... ^_^... We looked for seats at the balcony to see the movie in a better position, unlike with the orchestra you will never feel your neck again. It began, there goes Isabella Swan or Bella for short (played by Kristen Stewart ) on the go and then Edward Cullen ( played by Robert Pattinson from Harry Potter ). And there goes all the scenes of the movie and then the characters. The story was great ( I haven't read the book ), just as I saw the movie. The scenes and the lines they delivered. I really love it. The movie was "bitin" yet super "kilig" or romantic. I really love it, just as Bella and Edward had their love scenes. Most of my friends loves Twilight but I also knew some friends who doesn't like it either. But me, I super duper love it. I really love it. After the movie, I was really hopping for joy because of the movie not just because I watch it but because I was really touched by their unconditional love to each other and to all their love scenes and my most favorite part was the scene were Bella and Edward were on the prom night specifically on the center of the cottage-like surrounded by lighted bulbs. It was really kilig !!! Very very kilig!!!

Meanwhile, there was an issue that really threatened the fans of Twilight. It was an issue that the company of ABS-CBN bought the production of twilight for $1,000,000. ABS was planning to have their own Filipino version of Twilight entitled Takipsilim that will be played by Shaina Mgdayao as Isabella Swan and Rayver Cruz as Edward Cullen. The issue did really threatened all the twilight fanatics and said some fascinating words in some other fansites and blogs. The ABS-CBN was really shocked about the issue and so they wrote a letter to be noticed by everybody that the ABS-CBN Company did not buy the said movie and if they will have the plan they will tell it or advertise it publically. Also the stars that are said to play in the movie were also embarassed of what was happening and they also included that the edited picture on the Takipsilim tarpaulin was not true and it was just edited by some fans. Also the said director that will direct the said Takipsilim was also embarassed of the news and became confused, because Director Cathy Garcia Molina is still on the shooting of the second part of Sarah Geronimos " A Very Special Love" and how can she manage two movies at the time. Now, the issue has been cleared on media yet there were still forums and blogs that are still having this kind of topic.

After 2008 here comes a new year, a new year for everbody in this world, 2009. Maybe this 2009 will be a good and bad year for us for the reason that; good because new start for all of us and its the year of the golden ox and bad because of the political and environmental problems and the financial status of our country, Philippines. But don't you think that 2009 will be better than 2008. Maybe there would come a time that you can compare yet there will be "best things" in 2008 that you can't forget and you can't regret.

Whats best in 2008?

I celebrated my birthday with some of my friends. Well, it was just a get together were only had some wet and wild thing.

I graduated from high school and I had the chance to celebrate it with my friends, the day before the graduation. It was fun and kinda dramatic( the graduation ), not because of the event but because of the memories we've done. My classmates with all their teary eyes and all those wet make-ip really cried a lot. While saying goodbye, everybody cried inside the hall and the crowdy place became a "crying ladies" den (LOL) .

Our batch had the Farewell Party held at Tropicana Beach Resort located at General Santos City. Well, were not that complete because of some matters yet we spend it with some of our teachers from High School and it was really fun. The party ended up late afternoon and still the crying event didn't stop at the hall but also at the farewell party. I had the remembrances after that party.

I had the chance to had my vacation at Manila, at my sister and dads place. While staying there, my sister strolled us in the different places especially the Mall of Asia, Manila Ocean Park and the very high-leveled Bonifacio High Street. We spend our vacation there for 1 month yata and after the vacation I had to prepare for my enrollment, for my college life.

I enrolled to my new school, to my first college life. While having the enrollment I had the chance to meet some of my friends and the best was, I was being taken care of my Auntie and I entered my sisters club, the Likas Teatro. Being in my new school, I met new friends and tasted the new tastes of canteen.

While we were celebrating for the Intramurals, my sister brought me to Tagum City for a Production Designing Seminar that will take 3-4 days. It was kind a boring yet I learned something. It was not that fun, and not that boring because I also had the chance to develop my skills in designing (hehe)...

I started blogging and plurking. My friends influences me in blogging specially Kristan who was a really addict in blogging and became a blogging tycoon and also Frances who influenced me in plurking.

I celebrated my Christmas and New Year with some of my family, relatives and friends and with some of my posts here in my blog. The Misa de Gallos and the Christmas Countdown.

These are just few of the things that happened the previous year and these were the best things and the best moments that will never be repeated anymore and I will never forget for my 2008. I hope that 2009 will be a better start for me, not for me only but for all the people in the whole wide world, and for all our careers.

Do you know who is Jose P. Rizal? Do you know where is Dapitan? This are the usual questions when I was still in elementary. My History teacher used to ask when we had our first class, I think when I was still in Grade I or II ( I can't remember). Since then, we knew all about him, about his life and his greatest achievements while he was still alive. We also knew how and where he died.

"It's Holiday today! Why?"

This day, December 30, 2008, we celebrate the day of our very own Mr. Jose P. Rizal, our National Hero. Every year we had this holiday of Jose Rizal Day where theres no work and school (actually its also because of Christmas holiday) and this day we offer our all for his death. Jose Rizal was a hero and a part of the history of the Philippines but that doesn't end there, he was a good example of a good man and good son to the eyes of every. And as a Filipino or a "Pinoy" we are very proud of him and to what he had done to our country. And as a Tribute, I had this T-shirt design that I made just for this Holiday. I hope that this will be a good offer for him. ^_^

When I visited Angel and Kristans blog ( my friends ), I noticed something in their posts. They had this so called " Logo Making" on their blog posts. The logo had "Chicco de Caffe" letters. It made me think of asking them what was that, and they replied. Angel told me that it was a coffee shop at Davao City and they were having this logo design making contest for their coffee shop. And I ask her if I can join too, and she said Yes because it was open to all competition. She send the rules and regulations to me in making the logo design. I was thinking of my entry for this contest yet I cannot think of anything and so after 2 days of thinking I had this outputs for the contest. Well, it was a bit hard for me to think of the design because the last time I had a competition was last year and another was that, I never had the tutorials in Photoshop again since I left high school.

I hope that one of us; my friends will win the competition.
