Richard Poon: I'll Be Seeing You

January 24, 2011, Monday

My friend Lance offered me of watching Richard Poon at KCC Mall of GenSan this coming Wednesday at exactly 6:00pm. I was so desperate to watch my Crush/Favorite Singer of Sessionistas/Ever Supported Jazz Musician Mr. Richard Poon on stage singing my favorite songs. I have already decided!

January 26, 2011, Wednesday (6:00pm)

After my class at 4:30pm my friend Janine was planning of going to KCC to fix her mobile phone and so I decided to wait for Lance at World's of Fun before watching Richard Poon. To kill my time before 6:00pm comes I played Pump It Up with my friend Janine then Lance and Collene came. After playing we immediately went inside the KCC Convention Center to find ourselves comfortable seats so that we could see Richard Poon.

This is it!
After the host was introducing the sponsors and the likes, Janine and Collene came back after buying Coke Float. Just as they came, Richard Poon was introduced and then he came out. HE WAS SO CUTE!!! I was really amazed and full of happiness that I have already seen him in real life and in front of me singing my favorite songs of him. He sang 7 songs including one of my favorite "I'll Take Care of You" and "Portrait of Love", also he sang Complicated and Panalangin. His voice was so cool and very pleasant in my ears and also his face that is so angelic and very innocent. He was like a "gentleman" in his tuxedo and he was soooo cccuuutteeee because of his very chinese eyes. Still while listening to his songs I really couldn't believe that I'm watching and hearing him singing those songs I've just listened from my playlist.

After singing his last song, the next thing is his album signing and I DON'T HAVE ANY ALBUM BROUGHT to let him sign! The opportunity of having a picture with him and having him signed an album for me was the unluckiest thing I have done! Before deciding to go out we took a sit first because many people are going out now of the Center and some fans are now on the left wing of the stage to let Richard Poon sign their albums. Fortunately!!! I saw Kuya Avel Manansala and Kuya Marz at the back waiting for some moment to let the Big Band Crooner sign their album and have a photo with them.

This is REALLY is it!
Kuya Avel and Kuya Marz accepted my request of going with them on stage! YES!!! I was so lucky! Lance requested me of taking a photo of Richard Poon with his phone and "xempre pumayag ako eh!". When it was our turn I immediately took a photo of him using Lance's phone and I guess I took 5 photos of him. Then after having a photo of Kuya Marz and Kuya Avel with Richard Poon, I quickly went to him and put my hands on his shoulder and then POOF! PHOTO! Thanks Sir Avel for taking a photo of us! I was so glad and very happy that I have not just listened and watched Richard Poon on stage but I also had the chance of having get near of him and having a photo with him. I really can't explain how I feel on that day but I was so happy and satisfied of what I have done.

Vice Ganda: Magtetext sa Gensan?

Jose Marie Viceral, an amazing comedian discovered in Manila's famous comedy bars like "Laugh Line" and "Clowns". He was born on March 31, 1976. According to his story at MMK-Maalaala Mo Kaya, an ABS-CBN's show, he was discovered when he was once invited to go to a comedy bar and have fun there but because of that he was discovered and there his life started as a comedian. Before he became famous, I was really a very fan of him that I had already watched all of his videos at Youtube including his outside gigs and also his local shows. Vice Ganda is one the best comedians I've known on TV with Pokwang, Chocolate, Pooh, K Brosas, Tuesday Vargas, KitKat and etc.

Before he had his concert he was a very good host and very known judge at a noontime TV show also at ABS-CBN named Showtime with his friends and colleagues Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Kim Atienze, Jugs and Teddy. Because of this show, he was known more by people with his VERY KNOWN tagline "May nagtext!" for some of the contestants in the show and his dance step, and was also being liked and loved by the most of the Filipino citizens and also the other people in other country. Also because of showtime he had reached a million fans on FACEBOOK, and I'm just one of them. Also, before, he was being guessed by Ms. Sharon Cuneta's show named Sharon, Wowowee and ASAP with some of his comedian friends to be in the show and entertain the viewers. Now that he has reached stardom and made a name and trademark on TV, he's now a CONCERT QUEEN with a remarkable award of putting the "Whole" Araneta Coliseum on fire and excitement. And now, he is putting GenSan into fire with his exhilarating jokes and numbers on his CONCERT: Vice Ganda! May Nagtext!... His concert here in GenSan will be scheduled on June 27, 2010, 8:00 pm at Lagao Gymnasium with some of her following sponsors who made this possible. To avail tickets you make visit at some malls here in General Santos.

To have a teaser on what is Vice Ganda on stage and how does Vice Ganda entertain his audience with his jokes here are some videos I had watched on Youtube that you can watch before watching the Real Thing about Vice Ganda.

Pooh and K: Laugh Till You Drop

On February 14th at Lagao Gymnasium, a very good and very outstanding performer-ballader David Pomeranz sang sweet valentine songs for the people of the General Santos City. His never-fading songs echoed on the walls of Lagao Gym and his never-ending soft voice filled the place of the General Santos City with love. After that very melodious song from International or we call imported artist, this April the place of General Santos will be filled with laughters and jokes or quotes of fun. Pooh and K Brosas, two of the most famous comedians here in Philippines who make things possible with their quotable quotes and their different styles of entertaining people in terms of prank jokes. On April 19 of 2009, these two comedians will explode their laughing viruses and will make every smiling people of GenSan laugh till they drop.

Fast Facts:
Pooh
is a great imporsonator of our very own Boxing Champion, Mr. Manny Pacquiao.and also he is a very talented person: a comedian, a singer and an actor. He used to be a comedian in some of the popular and local comedy bars at Manila where he became famous. Remember when he and Pokwang made a show entitled "Poohkwang" in which Pokwang and him merged for one night for one show. It was a very funny show, in fact I reallt laughed a lot until I'll lose my breath. While K Brosas who used to be a part of Bitoy's Funniest Videos and some of GMA Networks show became famous also because she popularized the singing of the SSS song in some of her gigs or some of her shows. Also shes also a very good singer and another one is, she has a very good posture that made her to be a beauty queen alike. Pooh and K Brosas were just one of the funniest comedians in town but then I really idolize some of her colleague namely Pokwang, Chokoleit, Vice Ganda, Kitkat, Tuesday Vargas and many more.

*Someday, I wished that I could be a comedian also maybe because I like laughing or I like throwing jokes.*
