I Kissed the Midnight Rain

27th day of September, 12:12:56am

Nothing new...
Just me, the enigma inside my head and my worth.
Unresolved issues, mistakes and faults
A stick in my hand and a cat with me
All I can hear is silence and the voice inside me
Then it rained
It felt different; saddened but glad
I can feel it even if I'm inside a four-cornered box
I can see it even if my vision is a blur
I watched how the rain conquered the night
How raindrops fell from the sky
How a droplet of water touches the ground
And fills every space I see with lines and glows
I saw how the rain kissed the pavement
I felt how sad the fall is
And so do I
The fall of me

It feels so good
To feel something real
A reality that doesn't hurt me at all
I faced the sky and saw how the rain fall to my face
I smiled and felt the rain touched my skin
Every drop fills me with happiness
The coldness at the tip of my toes
The wind brushing through my hair
I feel cold
I can see lights
Little splashing raindrops
Lamp streets giving light to every corner I see
My body drenched in rain
And me sitting in a chair in the middle of a street
I feel different.

Slowly, the rain is falling little by little
Soft whispers of wind touching my face
Rainwater underneath my right foot
It's done
I can almost here the city life from anywhere
The noise of common days
But...
I was glad. Amazed at the same time.
That I felt something divergent. Unusual.
I stood up and faced the sky for the last time
I could still feel little raindrops on my face
I was smiling while tears fall
I was happy
I never felt this happy for a long time
I never knew that rain could feel so good
It restored me for short period of time
I kissed the rain by day
When skies are lit and skies are grey
But not today
The sky is dark and no stars were lit
I kissed the rain today.
And I Kissed the Midnight Rain.

Ladybug's First Wedding

OH YEAH! This is the first wedding project of Ladybug Productions and we are going to be kill this. Hahaha!!

This time we are going to move as if we don't have any bosses. WE ARE THE BOSS! jk

At first, we had a hard time with the whole thing of their wedding preparation and their wedding since the couple are not really that talkative and they are a bit kind of shy people. So there were no interviews or any messages. Their wedding was so unusual since it's my first time to see a Jehova's Witnessess Wedding. Maybe I was a little bit surprised on how the ceremony thing goes. Eventhough, they never had the kiss at the end of the ceremony we still had a beautiful output at the end of the day. I respect their religion for having those kind of rules or things to be followed.

It was hard yet challenging. We enjoyed it! WE NAILED IT!

How to Start the Year of 2013?

How do we exactly start a good year? Maybe have yourself a super good make over from your head to your toe. Have a super weird haircut? Buy the most expensive gift for yourself? Or maybe have yourself the very longest vacation ever in a very far away place called paradise. There are so many ways how to start your year awesome. And all you gotta need is... IDEA!

This year - 2013, I started the year by visiting the super ever and very beautiful paradise called Boracay. Well, I'm not really here for a vacation but for a business. The Green Tomato Weddings had to cover a very spectacular wedding of a couple who are really awesome and great: Herman and Angel.

The wedding took place in the white sand beaches of Boracay, seeing the sunset as they join their hands together. They celebrated their unforgettable moment of their lives at Shangrila Hotel along with their friends across the globe. It was fun and very momentous. And I think this is the first time in my life that I've witnessed a beach wedding and for the record they were foreigners. It was really my pleasure to be part of their wedding as well.

The bitter part is... Well this was actually my first time in Boracay and I never got the chance to swim in the white sand beach. DARN! But at least I've experienced the Boracay experience. :))

Congratulations to Herman and Angel. :)

Richard Poon: I'll Be Seeing You

January 24, 2011, Monday

My friend Lance offered me of watching Richard Poon at KCC Mall of GenSan this coming Wednesday at exactly 6:00pm. I was so desperate to watch my Crush/Favorite Singer of Sessionistas/Ever Supported Jazz Musician Mr. Richard Poon on stage singing my favorite songs. I have already decided!

January 26, 2011, Wednesday (6:00pm)

After my class at 4:30pm my friend Janine was planning of going to KCC to fix her mobile phone and so I decided to wait for Lance at World's of Fun before watching Richard Poon. To kill my time before 6:00pm comes I played Pump It Up with my friend Janine then Lance and Collene came. After playing we immediately went inside the KCC Convention Center to find ourselves comfortable seats so that we could see Richard Poon.

This is it!
After the host was introducing the sponsors and the likes, Janine and Collene came back after buying Coke Float. Just as they came, Richard Poon was introduced and then he came out. HE WAS SO CUTE!!! I was really amazed and full of happiness that I have already seen him in real life and in front of me singing my favorite songs of him. He sang 7 songs including one of my favorite "I'll Take Care of You" and "Portrait of Love", also he sang Complicated and Panalangin. His voice was so cool and very pleasant in my ears and also his face that is so angelic and very innocent. He was like a "gentleman" in his tuxedo and he was soooo cccuuutteeee because of his very chinese eyes. Still while listening to his songs I really couldn't believe that I'm watching and hearing him singing those songs I've just listened from my playlist.

After singing his last song, the next thing is his album signing and I DON'T HAVE ANY ALBUM BROUGHT to let him sign! The opportunity of having a picture with him and having him signed an album for me was the unluckiest thing I have done! Before deciding to go out we took a sit first because many people are going out now of the Center and some fans are now on the left wing of the stage to let Richard Poon sign their albums. Fortunately!!! I saw Kuya Avel Manansala and Kuya Marz at the back waiting for some moment to let the Big Band Crooner sign their album and have a photo with them.

This is REALLY is it!
Kuya Avel and Kuya Marz accepted my request of going with them on stage! YES!!! I was so lucky! Lance requested me of taking a photo of Richard Poon with his phone and "xempre pumayag ako eh!". When it was our turn I immediately took a photo of him using Lance's phone and I guess I took 5 photos of him. Then after having a photo of Kuya Marz and Kuya Avel with Richard Poon, I quickly went to him and put my hands on his shoulder and then POOF! PHOTO! Thanks Sir Avel for taking a photo of us! I was so glad and very happy that I have not just listened and watched Richard Poon on stage but I also had the chance of having get near of him and having a photo with him. I really can't explain how I feel on that day but I was so happy and satisfied of what I have done.

A Night with Attorney and Senator Adel Tamano

He was a good person, inside and out. He was a good-looking senator, a very intelligent attorney, a very inspiring Filipino citizen and a person who has a very funny yet simple personality. He was Attorney Adel Tamano. A politician who tries to run as a senator to be the voice and eyes of his fellow Muslim to the Senate. Attorney Adel Tamano was a law student before at Harvard University and graduated as the First Filipino Muslim and as the First Filipino who became the Cumlaude of the said university.

Before the interview with Atty. Adel Tamano, we were there at the meeting place, Grab a Crab, to prepare for his arrival while eating dinner. And as he enters the room... The crowd were shocked because of his very pleasing aura that is present with his smile and his very inviting handshakes.

As the interview starts, the table also begins to burn with many and different questions raised by my fellow bloggers. He was answering it very confidently and simple. He was also joking so that the talk would not be as boring as what we were expecting. Some of the questions raised were connected to why he was running as senator, why was education part of his plans and why did he join Villar's partylist. There were so many questions being raised that took us to 10:00 pm at the room. He never hesitate to answer all the questions. He answered all the questions to satisfy us and let us be know what he thinks and what he could do. It was fun being with Atty. Adel Tamano. He did not waste any of our time and I really appreciate was he is. He was simple and very inspiring. I don't know what to question about him much but I know to myself that he could be a good Senator if he wins.

The interview ends as Atty. Adel Tamano says goodbye to us so that he could change his clothes and have a great time while he's still here in Gensan. Then us, Bloggers, went to Piyesta to celebrate what we had done and also Atty. Tamano said he'll try to make it up to us so that we could talk
more.

Just A Birthday Gift

I love taking pictures especially when the model is me. Well it's part of my part time job as a part time editor in a photo editing company and also I had always loved to edit my and my friends photos in the way I like. I had always been with our main photographer whenever he shoots Pre-Nuptials but this time it was my first time to shoot and to choreograph in my own way.

Merian, a friend of mine, celebrates her 18th birthday and she asked me if I could conduct an outdoor pictorial for her (this pictorial would serve as my gift to her). It wasn't that hard for me to do it but it really took us hours to look for places, think of poses and shoot those poses for us to achieve what she and what I want. And these were the output of our photos shoot.

(I would like Kuya Joppet for letting me borrow his D60 DSLR)

2 in 1: Grand Bloggers Christmas Party and a Workshop with Ms. Jojie Alcantara

Hitting two birds in one stone!

Upon arriving at The Farm, I never anticipated that the destination will be as cool as what I am expecting. The place just fits to the possible events that will soon happen.

The first part would be the Workshop and Seminar of Ms. Jojie Alcantara, a very famous and devoted photographer of Davao, in photojournalism to her most invited participants, the Soccsargen Bloggers from General Santos and Koronadal City. She shared her ideas and thoughts on photojournalism as she starts to show her photography-inspired photos and many more. Then ends up discussing the pro's and con's of blogging and photojournalism. After discussion an application of what she shared happened, in which best photos captured will be awarded as Top 5 and Top 10. I've borrowed some of my friends DSLR like from Frances and Kristan and also I had to borrow the digital camera borrowed by Ate Hana. It was even more fun when we had to take photos at night where the entire location was decorated with Christmas Lights and decorations.

At the end of the day, I really learned a lot of things which will help me.and my hobby. Some of these are: patterns, reflections, perspectives, lines and curves and many more. I'm so glad that Ms. Jojie was there because she was such a cool mentor.

( Some photos are captured by Kristan and Frances: thanks to them )

April and May: My Summer 2009

Yesterday, it was April 8, 2009...
Now, it's June 8, 2009...

It's been 2 months since I had my last post here in my blog. Maybe I was busy lately with my "summer class" at school and my "summer class" thing in somewhere out there.

So far, in all the things that happened to me these past months and days, the best part was that it became my Summer Get Away 2009.

March had already ended and tomorrow would be the fisrt day of my Summer. March 31, 2009 I already started my Summer by having a 2-day trip from Gensan toDavao with my Aunt and some of the CMRE Staff. First, we stopped at Digos to eat some breakfast. Digos was just like Laguna in Manila because the houses I saw there were like old Tagalog houses I also saw at Laguna when I was still having my vacation there. While we were on the road, I saw a lot of beautiful areas until we reached Davao.

Upon arriving at Davao we had a little stop over in a "mini fastfood chain" to cover up our hungry stomachs. My Davao Get-away was very amazing. We went to a the den or to the place where Philippine Eagles were located and taken cared. We strolled around the big and wide setting until we had the chance to visit the Butterfly Sanctuary. When we reached the so called sanctuary of butterflies, I really expected that there would be a lot of butterflies which will fly around by me but unfortunately there was no butterfly at all. Because there a wedding where they would need a lot of butterflies. (They rented for the time and effort of the butterflies (LOL), I mean they rented the butterflies for the wedding whatever... ). There I saw a big crocodile, a couple of owls, the different types of eagles and many more. ( I can't remember anymore...) It was a very long day for us since we had the main agenda - to stroll around at Davao. Also I had the chance to visit Ateneo de Davao University and the Crocodile Farm. Since the strolling was a bit tiring, I mean very tiring, it's now our chance to go to our rooms in a resort. The resort was a very creepy for it had few postlights( poste) only and the rooms were very too far from each other and another problem was that no signal in my mobile phone. But fortunately, I found a spot were I spent my time texting with my friends.

(Left to right: owls in a cage and a big tree beside the cage)

(stolen shots during my vacation at davao)

That Davao get-away was very fascinating which was the main event in my summer but... but there's a big but in my summer. I also had some experiences and one of those were...

I also celebrated my Semana Santa or my Holy Week just in our house with my family and some of my friends. Well, I also celebrated it literally rather praying for my sins a nd my big and small mistakes.

(palaspas in a crucifix shape)

Sadly, our pet dog Pethina died. It was a long story but maybe the reason behind why she died was because of not eating. She wasn't eating because her newly born baby I mean puppy just died after she labored. Sadly, we found her with her puppy at the garage which was really a dark place that would definitely be the reason why we can't find her. Poor dog, she died several days after she bore her baby. I miss her very much because she was a very lovely and very cute dog.

(she was pethina: our dog who been with for 6 years)

My cat Little, my 1 and half year old pet, was done with her pregnancy because she already gave birth to her 3 little kittens. The first one was Sai, the white one with black spots. Second was Wadala, which was the orange one with white stripes I think and lastly Latto, the all black one and the only girl in the group. Actually I got their names from numbers. Sai from "isa' which is one or the first, Wadala from "dalawa" which is two or second a nd Latto from "tatlo" which is three or third.

(Wadala: while playing with her mother Little)

(Sai: having a great time with that plant)

(Three of them - top to bottom: Wadala, Sai and Latto)

(Latto and Wadala: while sleeping on the rag in the kitchen)

April was the month when we graduated and left high school and so, when I was watching my old high school photos at friendster and my files at the PC I remembered some of my stuffs and moments from high school. And I could still remember my barkada and my high school batch "Einstein" at that moment.

(memories I've seen at my cabinet)

Also, one of my barkada celebrated her birthday. On that day I mean night, we had our Barkada Get Together which made it very special. We roamed around the city, ate at a Barbeque House, spend the night at a public beach and walked through the streets of GenSan.

My first Summerfest at NDDU. It was a bit or quite boring I think. Thank God, a savior came to end up my boring moments at that time. A friend or should I say Kuya Cha came with his camera that made my day so special. Well, we were in the paparazzi mood at that moment. The breeze from the beach was a bit hot and somewhat average temp yet I could still feel the hotness of the sun to my skin as we stroll to shores of that beach. The day was hot but I wasn't in heat maybe because I wasn't satisfied with the people of NDDU (LOL).

(popcorn vendor on a rest after roaming around the beach)

(Maui, a friend of mine while having a post in the beach)

And lastly I changed my blog... I entirely changed my blog. ^_^ (i hope so...)
