Doodle Name: Anley

Art is really in my life. I couldn't live my life without it. So whenever I go out or go somewhere else, I always bring myself with me a pen and paper in my pouch.

This time a friend asked me to doodle a friends name named Anley.

I just started doodling when 2012 entered. I don't know how it came up to me but I just had an idea on how to do it. :))

Pre-Nuptial: Janx and Cheng

Last time it was an MTV/BTS style of Call Me Maybe, followed by a silver wedding anniversary celebration then this time... a set designed pre nuptial. :)

This times Ladybug Productions projects is its very first prenuptial shoot of the young couples Janx and Cheng. My work this time is not just a videographer but also the set designer and stylist of the couple during the shoot. It was a tough one. :)

I had to interview them first so I could have an idea on what could be the possible ideas that would fit in to their video. These couple are very much opposite to each other and they really have pretty funny story which started in a love boat wherein all singles are collected and each single has a single half heart. They have to search for the other half of the heart wherein if connected a bible verse is being seen. Going back, I now had the final idea of their shoot: loveboat, hearts and coffee shop since they also love coffee. Then I used the vintage type of clothing for their wardrobe so that it would fit the coffee shop ambiance of the set. Being a set designer and a stylist was a tough job to do yet it was fun.

A couple of days we had to do the props to be used in the set: cutting, pasting, painting, taping and all those creative stuff. 1st experience is a memorable one and I really enjoyed doing this one since art is being incorporated here. Hahaha!!

The shooting was a bit successful yet I still don't know if the footage were good. :/ But I know for sure that it would be a great one. I know for myself. :) KUDOS!

Thanks to the couple for giving me a chance to show my capabilities and skills/talents in designing and as well as to my team.

A Poem for my Inspiration

This is Different

A heart beats for us to live

but it doesn't end there, I know and I believe.

It somehow beats as normal as everyday

yet it seems different now coz you're on my way.

Before you we're just a nobody,

but just when I saw you, I feel simply happy.

This happiness is different from all the other.

It's the only thing I could remember

and I couldn't remove it from my mind either.

This is so unusual to feel and experience

because there's a difference I see

in how you look and the way you smile so gently.

You're not as handsome as fairy tales would say

but your eyes and your smile is as handsome as

fairy tales could have ever tell.

I kept asking myself, "Why does it have to be you?"

Where I could find anybody else out there who smiles like you do.

But yours is really a unique and amazing sunshine

that makes my day and stops the time.

I think this is more than what I've expected to happen

to feel something amazing and to be inspired again.

I think and I know this already happened,

but I really really think that this is different.

Babies on Bubble Bath

Babies on Bubble Bath

When I actually had the chance to borrow Kuya Cha, my friend who was actually a photogrpaher in our previous studio, I took the opportunity of using it when my nephew, Rei-Rei and my niece, Angel had their bath time and this time they had their "Bubble Bath".

This was my first time to take photos of children/babies, and so it was a bit hard for me to capture some photos of them but then because those kids became aware that I was taking photos, they actually became an instant actor and an instant actress. It was also a hard for me to be alert and also be "quick" whenever there are some moments and actions happening. Yet I still had some wonderful outputs out of my unlimited trial shots.

These memorabillas will be some memories of my nephew and niece, and will also be included to my photography portfolio.

Splats! paint my life!

I love painting! I love Adobe Photoshop! I love ART! These artworks/masterpieces are very inspired by my friend Kristan who used to play with Adobe Photoshop... I tried to imitate them yet I came out with another cute outputs.. In here I used brushes called "splats" then I added some brushes to make it more cute!

Because of this, a friend of mine requested to have one. And I made her one for her primary photo in Facebook.

Mass Communication Advocacy

It's September and Intramurals was also coming on its way to the areas of our school. And every intramurals the Mass Communication Students of our school were having this activity called MassComm Advocacy in which they will have their photo in edited form with their advocacy in a tarpaulin. I was once assigned to this kind of work when I was still working with my friend Kuya James in the studio we were working. And now that he had gone away and had his own career, this had become a challenge because I have some MassComm friends who told me that they would like to have a photo in our studio again and I can't resist them and on the other hand this will help me improve my skills in editing. Well, some students here are my friends and because of them I now have these set of edited photos along with their advocacies.

I would like to thank my MassComm friends in random order: Rendyll, Queenie, Claire, Julie, Aries, Mona, Joanna, Ping, Ailea and Rhea for trusting on me and letting me be part of their advocacy. I hope you liked it! ^_^

These photos here are some of my outputs of photography. These were stocked photos in my laptop and I had only found them before I posted this. Some of the photos here were taken during our Samal Vacation while the other were taken during the Christmas Party of our studio.

Just A Birthday Gift

I love taking pictures especially when the model is me. Well it's part of my part time job as a part time editor in a photo editing company and also I had always loved to edit my and my friends photos in the way I like. I had always been with our main photographer whenever he shoots Pre-Nuptials but this time it was my first time to shoot and to choreograph in my own way.

Merian, a friend of mine, celebrates her 18th birthday and she asked me if I could conduct an outdoor pictorial for her (this pictorial would serve as my gift to her). It wasn't that hard for me to do it but it really took us hours to look for places, think of poses and shoot those poses for us to achieve what she and what I want. And these were the output of our photos shoot.
