Do you know who is Jose P. Rizal? Do you know where is Dapitan? This are the usual questions when I was still in elementary. My History teacher used to ask when we had our first class, I think when I was still in Grade I or II ( I can't remember). Since then, we knew all about him, about his life and his greatest achievements while he was still alive. We also knew how and where he died.

"It's Holiday today! Why?"

This day, December 30, 2008, we celebrate the day of our very own Mr. Jose P. Rizal, our National Hero. Every year we had this holiday of Jose Rizal Day where theres no work and school (actually its also because of Christmas holiday) and this day we offer our all for his death. Jose Rizal was a hero and a part of the history of the Philippines but that doesn't end there, he was a good example of a good man and good son to the eyes of every. And as a Filipino or a "Pinoy" we are very proud of him and to what he had done to our country. And as a Tribute, I had this T-shirt design that I made just for this Holiday. I hope that this will be a good offer for him. ^_^

When I visited Angel and Kristans blog ( my friends ), I noticed something in their posts. They had this so called " Logo Making" on their blog posts. The logo had "Chicco de Caffe" letters. It made me think of asking them what was that, and they replied. Angel told me that it was a coffee shop at Davao City and they were having this logo design making contest for their coffee shop. And I ask her if I can join too, and she said Yes because it was open to all competition. She send the rules and regulations to me in making the logo design. I was thinking of my entry for this contest yet I cannot think of anything and so after 2 days of thinking I had this outputs for the contest. Well, it was a bit hard for me to think of the design because the last time I had a competition was last year and another was that, I never had the tutorials in Photoshop again since I left high school.

I hope that one of us; my friends will win the competition.

"Every time or everyday I walk seems like November..."

Once there was an abandoned house in front of the house. Never been cleaned, never been visited, and never been gone by anybody. There was no one there, maybe something that's not like us. One time, the owner of the house came and cleaned the gate of the house and put a signage " House and Lot for sale". That was the only time that it was visited and cleaned yet no one goes near to it neither the people around the house. Whenever we play(badminton) outside the house and the shuttle cock goes to the house, we pin point other people to get it. Usually my brother does it, because according to him he's brave enough. We thought that the house is filled with mysterious and creepy things but nothing appeared for the last 1 year that we stayed there.

One night, I dreamed of this creepy abandoned house. There was someone there standing inside the house. Wearing white and firmly standing in the corner. It calls me but I quickly woke myself up and forget about it and went back to sleep.

When I woke up in the morning, I never went near to that house again. Whenever I go to my Aunts house I just simply ignored the house and rapidly run. Until now I always do it for the sake of not seeing something but whenever I watch it from a far I feel that there's someone watching me from a far.

Every year, everyone celebrates the day were our Lord Jesus Christ was born. He usually do this every year, on the 25th day of December. Everyone gets busy preparing for food for everybody, preparing to go home to their families and preparing for their selves for the last mass. The whole world is busy preparing for the birthday of our Lord Jesus Christs.

As we celebrate Christmas we, share our blessing to someone, give some greetings to everybody, smile to everybody and celebrate with joy and happiness in everybody's hearts. Like me, I celebrate Christmas in many different ways and many different and unique ideas.

But celebrating Christmas with just a simple food and a simple gathering is a great and very special moment for each and everybodys life.

While I was outside the house, I noticed the grayish clouds in the sky. It seems like its gonna rain and the wind was kind a strong to my body. The trees were swaying with the wind and the clouds kept on changing shapes and the going more darker. But as the sun sets the color of the clouds changes to dark orange. Then it mixes with the previous grayish clouds. It was kind a creepy to me because its Christmas already. I then noticed that it was disappearing or vanishing from the sky then there goes the night.

While preparing for tonights celebration, the wind was really strong and windy.

Then I heard from the news that Philippine will be suffering from soft rains. And so, I thought that this will be a creepy Christmas for everybody.

"Ayo, naa mo plastic ug lata?"
│ a poor boy who knocks in our gate │

When we arrived at the house after having some groceries a little poor boy came near to us and asked us if we have tin cans or plastics. My mother then told me to gather the following items he needs at the back of the house. I hurried and gave him all we have. When I opened the gate, the boy was dirty and messy. He was so unfortunate, then I noticed that he was wearing a pair of slippers that are not really partners and the worst of it is, the pair was all right (no left slipper). I wondered if how did he used to have that kind of slippers. After giving it, he went away and went to other houses. He was really poor, trying to earn money from collecting garbages.

I think that the best gift maybe for him is a pair of slippers, so that he could walk properly.

What is the most common 3 word-phrase that express great expression of feelings. I miss you? God Bless You? How are you? Take Care Always?

Its not in the choices because its, I Love You...

Every time the world revolves there would be always someone in this world who will say i love you. Maybe it would miss one second but you will always here it in somebody's lips. Even a child or a kid can express this in a way that he/she cant speak carefully and perfectly. This word can be delivered in different language like in Filipino "Mahal Kita!", in other unknown languages like Gwa ai di (i dont know the spelling), aishete masu and more other languages.

According to a TV show that I had watch long time ago, this 3 word-phrase is very powerful and expressionistic. They also said that, saying this is not just simply telling it but it should have emotions and feelings.

So, this Christmas let us tell everybody in this world...

I woke up at 3:30 in the morning to prepare for the last misa de gallo. Before going to church I always go to my Aunts house to check them and go with them to church. When I went there, the dog who was being transfered from Sister Cynthias residence to her house who was named Bree labored or delivered her puppies. She was in her box under the bed and she was still delivering her puppies. And so my Aunt decided not to go with us and she'll stay with the dog because the dog do not know how to deliver her puppies. And again before going to the church me, my brother and the helper of my Aunt went to the other house to fetch the sister of my Aunts helper in the house. When we were there already they were still dressing up and so we waited for them, then a neighbor of ours came near to us and ask if she could join with us. Why not, after they dressed up we quickly went to the church by riding a tricycad again.

We were not yet late, but the mass already started its entrance song. After the mass, we looked for our favorite driver and he delivered us to out house.

The most special asset that a person could have is his "smile", without this he can't express his own happiness and joy. Without this, he can never give joy to those who are sad and lonely and without this, your face will grow old.

If you will smile, many bones from your face will movwe and as you smile, many will smile also.

As Christmas comes, the best way to celebrate it is stay with your family and smile while you enjoy being with them.

Smiling would be the best gift that God has given to us, I think everyone in this world are smiling. Every second, nanosecond someone smiles and shares it with others. Sharing your smiles to somebody will make the whole world smile (joke!). I know that life is full of challenges yet the best way to cure it is to solve it with a smiling face.

I quickly woke up when my phone rang with my its alarming sound, Loli Loli. It was very loud and very disturbing. And so I stood up and dressed up.

Me and my brother waited for my Aunt and her companies. After some few minutes of waiting, we looked for something to ride on and there goes a tricycad on the go. We were going to the church, and we are going to have the 2nd mass, as always.

After the first mass, we hurried to the blank seats. Then while the mass is going on, I saw one of my classmates on my RE112 subject. It was RC, a friend of mine were I link with a friend of mine Ferdinand.

When the mass went to part of giving the peace sign, she looked at me and smiled. Then she had the sign of peace, in reply I had that too.

Well, after the mass I greeted her Merry Christmas and had the linking joke. And now shes telling it back to me.

After going home, I went to bed and continued again my sleep.

I was still sleepy when we went to church. My attire, yellow skinny jeans in combination with my light brownish jacket. Inside was my red "pambahay' shirt that I wore yesterday. I'm tired of changing my upper part of the body and another thing, I'm not dirty at all.

When I was in the church I cant resist myself from sleeping. Simply I bow down my head then put my fist in front of my head then I slowly close my eyes and sleep. While sleeping, I'm still listening to the sharers life. Damn it! I can't sleep yet my eyes were closed. After the sharer, everyone stood up then me? Do you know what I did? I quickly went up from my seat and was in a state of shock. I think no one had seen me, yet my friends were laughing because I was like a kid who was being waked up by her mother. Duh, I dont care.

I was tired and excited to go home. When we reached home, I hurriedly went to bed and continued my sleep.

Before Christmas starts their would be always exchanging of gifts from friends or from your family. And so, every people involved in this kind of celebration or get together finds and prepares his/her own gifts. In other countries, they still believe in Santa Clause. A very kind old man who came from North Pole with his elves and reindeers that gives gifts or presents to those kids or children who are good, kind and not doing bad things.

As you have your exchange gifts its not important if your gifts is cheap and affordable. The most important thing in a gift is its meaning and its purpose in your life. Its not in the physical appearance but its in the "heart" of it, the care of the one who gave, the love and the sharing of blessings. This is just one way of showing your love to one another.

"What makes a caroling very nice to hear?"
│ a combination of a guitarist and the guitar │

While I was staying in the house, I heard this group of people going toward us. Its like that they're going to have a caroling. They were 2 singers and 2 guitarist. The guitarists were different to each other. The other one uses a common guitar while the other one uses s bandurya. They went to the house and they sang good.

The combination of the instruments and the voices were good. The bandurya really seems to be the star of the caroling. It had a great melody and when I went out of the house to give some money the one who plays the bandurya was an old man. He was mid 40 - 50 years old. After giving they sang again and went out.

The guitar really makes a good sound but the bandurya was the better one, prankly. A guitar has 6 strings which has different tunes or sounds. When it was being strummed, it will really make a good sound even though an apprentice can use the guitar.

5:30 in the morning, Sunday

After the mass, we waited outside the church to look for someone to ride on. All the vehicles were full, no one to be called because every vehicle was being used or I mean every vehicle was full. Before going home, my Aunt decided to buy some food outside the Church. While waiting, I captured some of the moments outside the church. And as we go home, I got also some photos of our road trip while going home.

Celebrating Christmas with happiness is one of the special and needed elements in Christmas. But this time, was the first time that we will not be celebrating Christmas without my Lola. My lola just died 7 months ago. Last 7 months, we were happy being with her because she had been happy that time. But then she was suffering that time to her illness. She can't breathe easily and she's not been eating for a couple of days and I think she had been dehydrated. Sadly she died just after our reunion.

She was happy before she died. I was happy because she wasn't sad before she went away. I know that she's now happy with God in heaven. And she will continue to protect us as we go on with our lives.

Whenever we celebrate Christmas, I always "mano" to her. And she always smile as we greet her. I will be missing her, always. Her songs and all her callings when she looks for me.

This will be the First Christmas were shes not present.

3:40 in the morning, Saturday

I went to church to have my 5th Misa de Gallo. Well, I'm with my little bratinella brother (char). And I'm with my cousins and friends also.

The mass was quite long, yet whats the sense of Misa de Gallo if you will not listen to the Homely which was the moral lesson of every mass.

What are the special things in Christmas Eve???

1. The Food; because without the food how can you survive? Joke! the food is one special thing
because without this, you can't celebrate joyously, I mean with your tummies very full.
Its not important if the food is local, imported or for poor people, the most and imp.
thing is that we have something to eat.


2. The Family: How can you celebrate Christmas if you're all alone? Very silent and sad. You
should have your family with you, because being with the family is the best thing
to celebrate Christmas. Loving your family is just one of the things that makes the
Christmas so special.


3. Love: Celebrating Christmas without love is just like killing yourself. Joke! Yes its true, if
you're just celebrating Christmas for the sake of "sosyalization" its not worth it. With
love anything is good I mean better for ever.

4. Blessings: God showers blessings to those who are good and not bad. Have you ever received a blessing from up above? Duh, you should have, theres no one else in this world who hasn't received any blessing, right? If you haven't received one, maybe there something wrong with you. (LOL).

5. Friends: Except for your family, do you have any friends? You should also have one, no one in this world who doesn't have any friends at all? If you dont have one, maybe theres something wrong with you again. Its because with friends with friends, you can share your life and your blessing also. Thats one way of loving them and caring for them.

6. Going to church: Going to church with your family or friends is fun. You are sharing your life to Jesus Christ who will be the birthday boy on December 25. Being with Jesus with love, is good I mean best. Celebrating together with Jesus Christ, is living with happiness and joy for ever.

7. Happiness: Are you happy when you celebrate Christmas? If not, condolence.. (LOL). Joke! You should be happy because being happy is happy. Hahaha!!! Joke! Acting happy will make you live long, because as they say, "Laughter is the best medicine".

8. Me / You / Yourself: Without me or you, Christmas wont be happier as it seems. How can we celebrate Christmas without my or your presence. Right? If you dont want, where are you now? Heaven or just like Casper.
