For 3 years, I've been going to the "Simbang Gabi". And every year I always try to complete it. The Simbang Gabi starts on the 16th day of December, starts at 4:30am and ends at 5:30am, it takes only one hour for me to go to church. Along with my sister or brother we usually go to the church of St. Michael the Archangel Parish just near to our subdivision. On the first day of Simbang Gabi there will always be full of people on the church trying to complete the 10 days but thats not the true meaning of Simbang Gabi. It's a get together of our family where we celebrate the Christmas eve together and tries to pray together for the goodness of their lives.
The first day of Simbang Gabi was the most special day of Simbang Gabi, because its just not the beginning but the start of the new life. I hope I can complete the Simbang Gabi! ^_^
