It was my phone ringing at 3:30 in the morning, when I woke up. Its already December 16 of 2008 and this is the first day of the Misa de Galyo or Simbang Gabi. After preparing I went to my Aunts house just on front of our house and asked them if they're going also. They've been fixing themselves to prepare for the mass. It was great, everyone is ready and so we went to the nearest church in our subdivision called the St. Michael Archangel Parish. It had to masses, the first ( 3:30 - 4:30 am ) and the second ( 4:30 - 5:30 am ). I had the second mass with my cousin, brother, my Aunt and the people who are also living in my Aunts house.
On the church, there were many people there. The church is crowdy and full yet I can't believe that there were many people in the church. The mass had started already when we knew that the priest who was conducting the mass was Father Jonathan Sarcon, the parish priest of Notre Dame. It was fun yet I didn't like the mass because they always use the Visayan language instead of Tagalog. I can't understand it, and I can't relate to the sharer. Yet I knew few words from the Visayan sharer yet I can't still understand most of the words.
After the mass, we went home and when I arrived at the house I immediately went to bed and continued my sleep. I woke up at 7:30 am because I had my class at 8:45am ( the adjusted time, I usually had the 9:00am class ). I was in a hurry while going upstairs to catch to my first subject. Whew! I was late 10 minutes only. ^_^
I wish I can complete the Misa de Galyo and I hope December 18 comes!
